I'm getting all of the yardsale info from Craigslist's garage sale area. I'm having to parse through these postings to extract addresses, dates and other information. The thing that makes this difficult is that there is no standardized way of putting this information in a sale posting. It is completely free-form.

So I have to filter through and find what looks like an address, break it down and finally verify it with Google Maps. Once that passes snuff, I must secondarily, parse out the dates of the sale. This part is still the most innacurate parsing, so its a good idea to ready the body if the listing.

If your listing isn't showing up, either I haven't scraped it yet, or its not a parsable listing. If you put your address on its own line and format it as if you were writing it on an envelope I'll probably pick it up:

Good:

1234 NE 25th St, Kenmore, WA
1234 Stewart Ave N, Seattle, WA

Bad:

Three blocks north of Seattle Center on Queen Anne Ave, #123.
